Shipping & Production
Every ForgeViking axe is hand-forged to order in Canada and shipped worldwide. We've kept this policy short on purpose — there are no hidden fees, no surprise duties, and no third-party brokers in the middle.
What's included with every order
- Free shipping. Worldwide. Always. No minimum order. No threshold. Whether you're in Toronto or Tokyo, shipping is built into the price. (Depending on shipping location outside North America fees may apply)
- All duties and taxes paid by us. We ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). You will not pay customs fees, brokerage charges, VAT, or import duties on arrival. The price you see at checkout is the final price.
- Full tracking on every order. You receive a tracking number the moment your axe leaves the forge.
- Insured against loss and damage. If your package is lost in transit or arrives damaged, we replace it. (Exception outside North America)

Custom-engraved or boxed orders may add 2–4 business days to the forge stage. If your order is urgent, contact us before placing it — we can sometimes accommodate faster timelines.
Where we ship
Worldwide. If Shopify lets you check out from your country, we ship there. Specific destinations with longer transit windows (remote regions, island nations, very large or sanctioned countries) may take an additional 3–5 business days
How we ship
Every axe is packed in a fitted protective box with the head sheathed in leather and the handle wrapped to prevent shipping abrasion. We use tracked courier services (DHL, FedEx, UPS, or Canada Post depending on destination) and select the route with the best balance of speed and reliability for your region.
What if something goes wrong in transit?
If your package is delayed beyond 14 days from dispatch, or arrives damaged, contact us at sales@forgeviking.com with your order number and a photo (if damaged). We file the carrier claim — you don't deal with the courier. We either re-ship a replacement or refund you in full, your choice.
Address changes
If you need to change your shipping address, email us within 24 hours of placing the order. After 24 hours, the axe is already in production and the address is locked.
Order tracking
You will receive three emails:
- Order confirmed — immediately after checkout
- Your axe is in the forge — when production begins (Day 1–2)
- Your axe has shipped — with tracking link (Day 3)
If you haven't received the shipping email within 10 business days of placing your order, check your spam folder first, then email us.
